Ok well I've got some long tube Hedman Hedders, but they don't have a EGR tube. So after looking around some, I think i've decided to eliminate the EGR, but I can't find a very good description of everything I need. I know I'm gonna need an EGR valve position sensor eliminator, but I'm not sure what all else. Any thorough information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the links. I had already been to the fordfuelinjection.com one, but I'm still a little confused about exactly what all it inolves. Also, will the stuff for the 5.0 liter mustang (which seems to be the most common source for the EGR removal hardware) work with the 5.8 liter?

As long as it has a hole for the O2 sensor, who cares. But if you are gonna disconnect the EGR, just disconnect all the smog stuff. It's not hard.

I heard that if you just leave it disconnected without an eliminator and without blocking it off it can mess with your engine performance, though. I don't know much about removing the rest of the smog stuff either.

BTW, my headers didn't have O2 sensor bungs themselves, but my reducers do. So I'm good there.
