Does anyone know the difference between the frames on a 1980 Bronco, and a 92-96? I want to add the fiberglass looking bumper to the frame of an '80, and was wondering if I'm gonna run into a serious problem. It looks like 80-86, 87-91, and 92-96 all have different part #s, so I'm a little leary to try. To give you an idea on the type of bumper I'm talking about, I've attached a photo. Any help would be great!

1980 to 1991 the frames are the same there like c channel with an end on it . 92 to 96 have the new style sqare frame that has the acordian look to absorb impact force in a crash . The bumper on the 80 to 91 boltd through the bumper into the frame horns and the 92 to 96 mount to a peice of angle iron welded to the inside of the frame rail . I mounted a warn enforcer for a 94 onto my 89 by welding a plate to the side of the frame to box it in and then welding a peice of angle to it so that the bumper would bolt on . It works perfect and looks right . I can get pics if you need . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ya! If it's not too much trouble, I'd love to see the pics to give me an idea on what your talking about. I have a pretty good idea, but I'm more of a visual person.
