Hello all. I was browing the internet this morning looking for some bronco pics and came across this forum. Ive had my 85 bronco since 99 some time. Daily driven for about 5 years then pulled off the road. The frame is in great shape with just surface rust, the body on the other hand could use some help. This truck belonged to my brother before me, and my cousin before him so its been around for awhile.
Its going to get turned into a daily driven dual purpose rig. keeping the 4.9 and the np 435 because i love that combo, here are a few pics
it was a good truck for a long time but alot of problems started pilling up, like the power wires to the tailgate window motor shorted the truck and caught the wires on fire. thankfully there was a big rust hole in the tail gate so i could cut the wires in a hurry. im not 100% sure the direction i want to go with it but im a fabricator by trade and im looking to make something cool out of it.
When i pulled it off the road in 04 i replaced it with this 86 f150 on 35's.
it turned out to be a bigger headache than the bronco so i quickly got rid of it. it was a 302 with a t19 4speed. so much rust under the back of it, it was used to tow a boat and im sure was backed into the water alot. both tanks were leaking, the shackles were all but gone, shocks were rusted through, etc etc.
replaced it with my currenty daily driver.
1 owner f150xlt CA truck. lots of miles but mostly driven across country. Really clean good truck.
Im currently a ME student at VA tech and have been a fabricator for tech for the last 8 years in the transportation industry.
I have a few other rides/toys. 99 grand cherokee is the wifes daily driver. i have an 84 mitsubishi starion project, 68 camaro ss clone project. im currently doing a resto mod 71 f100 ranger for my cousin who used to own my bronco. ive got a few jetski projects, have a few motorcycles that ive built...
This is probably the longest intro ever but this looks like a good place!

ps, here are some pics of the f100

shaving all the stake posts, marker lights, tailgate... dropping it about 5", doing some other custom stuff to it.
