Im new here, Im picking up an 89' Bronco this week, Its lifted with 33" super swampers, nice exhaust and runs great, 118,000 miles on it. all the electric seems to be good, Intereior is in great condition. No Body rust, or bumber rust, its in very nice condition, Im paying $6000.00 for it, does that sound like a fair price? also what should I be looking for? pros and cons? Im a Jeep guy and have built a ton of Wranglers but never owned a Bronco, I wanted something bigger. anyways Id appreciate any and all Input... I know the Gas Milage is shit, Mostly I just neeed it to be a sturdy dependable truck that wont need much work other than the normal ware and tare expected with a 20 year old truck... thanks!

So far it sounds like a fair deal. most of the vehicles I buy are $500, but after months of work they turn into something closer to what you will have. have a look under the bronco to look a the radius arms and transfer case mount. the bushings at the rear of the radius arms wear easier when you get the wheel rub from running the bigger tires, and if the transfercase mount appears to be solid then the thing hasn't been beat up on too much,

just keep us posted, my 89 f 150 runs like a champ and has seen some better days. if you run into any problems you know where to come for answers,

welcome to the zone.

ps try haggling him down a bit if you can, it never hurts to try.

Yah, if you stand there with 4K cash hanging off your hand and say something like, "well all I have is 4000, I guess I'll have to keep looking", maybe you will catch him in a weak moment.
