new transmission

I was just wondering if i should change my transmission in my 1973 bronco im going to put in an 351w i still got to 3 speed and my riend gave me an np235 with 6:1 first gear. Post and tell what u think

Do you mean an NP 435? If you got the 435 then yes, I would definatly put it in over the original 3 speed. Just remember that in order to get everything to match up in the correct lengths, you will need the 6 cylinder intermediate housing between the trans and the xfer case or it won't work.
