hello, I'm new here and to bronco's as well, but not new to 4wheeling and building rigs. Few weeks ago I picked up 1994 EB Bronco as an even trade for my yamaha raptor 660rt. Bronco runs great and dosent look too bad, needs some body work such as the typical rust and a paint job.

So far my not so distant plans (as soon as my jeep sells) I'll be adding a 6 inch suspension lift (most likely an RC kit), and a 3 inch body lift (I know not everyone likes them, but I've had a few on other trucks and never had issues), and most likely going to end up with either 35 or 36 inch pitbulls. I had mud kings on my jeep and loved them but been hearing great reviews about the pitbulls and figured I'd give them a shot.

only question I have at this point would be, besides the lift kit (all drop brackets, shocks, coils, add a leaf, pitman arm) is there anything else someone here would reccomend I purchase as well to insure a "as least amount of troubles" install as possible? I'm already pretty sure I'll end up cutting out my wells once I figure out a plan to reattach the front inner fenders since there appears to only be about an inch of room between the wheel well lip and inner fender by the door casing.

But other than that, is there any suggestions? I already have 4.11 gearing (I did run the 35s on the jeep with 3.54 with out any issues)

below is a picture of what I will be starting with as far as how the bronco currently looks. its got 33's on it already

welcome to the zone. happy new year and all that stuff.

depending on what you want the bronco for, running 9" of lift with 35's is pretty pointless and a waste of money and lowers the, on/off road performance and safety of your ride. But im not telling you what to do.

you can run 35's from as little as 2" of lift. this is not a jeep so you don't need all the lift you used to need with the jeep. your in a whole new ballgame.

final point is the main reasons to lift a vehicle are these. Ground clearance to the frame. and to accommodate larger tires. the body lift will only give the second of the two which you will already have more than enough of with the 6" suspension lift.

if you want 9" of lift, to keep your bronco from looking like its running on tiny tires you might as well make use of the clearance and run 38-40's

yea deffinately getting rid of the auto hubs, got my eye on warn standards. Always had good luck with those before and they have the same internals as the premium line, just not as fancy looking. Later I'm hopeing to find a manual transfercase, I really dont have much faith in pushbutton 4x4. Just seems too much can go wrong with them.

guess at this point my concerns mostly are if the drive shafts will be long enough for the 6inch lift or if I'll need to have a set made.

your drive shafts will should be fine, they are designed to have a fair bit of adjust ability already, the slip yoke should let it stretch that far.
