Hi all, the wife and I are both Ford fans and also truck fans. We currently own a 94 f150 4x4 and a 92 FSB along with her Fusion. The truck is stock but the Bronco is lifted with 33" tires. Here is my question: Do all the V-8 Bronco's have the quad shock front end or was this an option? I did a search but did not get the answer. Thanks for any help and again, Howdy!

Welcome to the zone. I'm pretty sure the quad shock setup was an option, I know it was on the F-150.

I had a 96, and this '90 both Eddie bauer's and both had quads. I don't know if they were standard/optional and/or a part of the EB package.

They were an option, usually associated with a towing or plowing package. Welcome to the Zone > . Post some pictures when you get a chance we'd like to :-B at them.

Good luck,

:)>-

Thanks for all the welcomes! I will post a pic or two in a day or two. I only have the pictures of when we first got it as we have only had this one for a few weeks. I had a 85 FSB years ago and traded it in when it had 236,000 miles. That 300 Inline 6 was a great motor for longevity but sure was gutless and liked fuel!

I have never done much body work, I was a grease monkey not a dust monkey :)>- . This will be my first time trying to do panel replacement on the body. I look forward to the new challange of the body work. It won't be perfect when I get done, as long as it is dependable and looks good from 20' away, I'm ok with that. The wife wants to be able to haul the 3 dogs around in it as her car has leather interior. Of coarse the Bronco does too but it is not in real good condition so it really won't matter.

I'll take pics during the process and I am sure I will have a question or two for any of you body guys or gals out there. So if I ask a dumb question about body work, please treat me kindly as I real don't have much knowledge in this area  .

yo!

Welcome!

We have a 96 XL bought new and it has the 2 shock version up front. As Seabronc & Joe mentioned, the 4 front shock set-up was po of the Towing Package. I'll scan a 96 Dealer brochure in soon; it is almost 100% = to your 92

For the usual rust with $ saving panel replacement; see our MAIN SPONSOR Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, for them with rel low costs as compared to entire 1/4 panel for ex.

http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/c-188_body_92-96.htm

The one thAng I will never buy is the Inner Rear Wheel Houses (tubs).. $240.00 & 310.00 !!! better to cut the rust out there and fab alum pieces (ezier to bend) and pop rivet, etc em in.

My pal sixlitre did this 1/4 panel replacement with body adhesive
