LOL yes you are wrong ( sorry ) The MSD box can be added to anything it works because its actually being triggered by the signal that used to fire the coil . With the MSD boxes if theres some sort of trigger input it will fire a coil and the part number I gave earlier allows it to be added to any TFI ( fuel injection ) ignition system that ford has by just plugging it in no wires to cut or mess up . Can take a pic of mine if you still have any doubt :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

No I believe you, I just put one in a '79 Ford and I thought it said it cannot be put in computer controlled vehicles, I stand corrected. No problem I can accept that. LOL

i want one of these. can i just pop it in and replace the coil i have now? i'm looking to start gathering parts and do some small stuff while i'm saving for the engine project. engine is a few months off yet and havent decided on a rebuild of my existing or a crate but i woud like to start upgrading my exisitng ignition components in the meantime. anyone have a link to a site that has the stuff i would need for my 90 302 that has a good price and service?

thanks.

Does the ignition give you any gains in performance alone? Better MPG or more power? I've always understood ignition upgrades to pretty much be just a prerequisite before N2O or forced induction.

In my opinion there is nothing else but MSD very reliable herd it called man made lightning . If theres gas in the hole it will light it , no plug fouling , better millage because it burns it all . better performance because of the complete burn , All pluses no negatives LOL other than the cost . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Back in the drag racing days, crane was king. (Approx 8 years ago) It seems that MSD has over taken al competitors. I will agree that MSD is now the way to go.
