Hello all. New to broncozone, so I thought I would say hello!
I have now had 3 Early Bronco's (1972 - when i was 2, 1975 (from 1986-1992), and now a 1974 (that I have had since 2001). This latest one is my project that started about 3 years ago, but now in earnest as i have a nearly 16 year old and I need a car to drive since she will be getting my current car. So my '74 is TORN apart in my garage, rebuilding just about the whole thing from the ground up. New disc brakes all around, new metal to replace badly rusted parts, better suspension, new paint (obviously), rebuilding the engine, etc.) The body is currently off the frame, and frame (along with other parts) going off to blasting soon. Body going to media blast in the next couple of months to see just how much has to get replaced. It truly is fabulous to be working on the dream Bronco! All the pics show various phases of tear down, and I will try to find some of when it was actually still running several years ago. Thanks for the welcome!
