I have a set of superlift 4'' lift coil springs I picked up from a friend today, and I was wondering if I can put them in a stock suspension with just an alignment and new shocks? Its only for the front, but I also priced some rear leafs to match. Would this work?

You really should get the drop brackets to go with the springs. If not you will have a devil of a time getting castor and camber angles set right if it is even possible. On the stock suspension, there is only one adjustment point for those angles by changing the bushing around the upper ball joint. There is only a couple of degrees of adjustment possible this way. By using the brackets to lower the pivot points by the same 4 inches you get from the springs, you will maintain the original geometric relationships and alignment will be much easier.

You will NEED the drop brackets. Or your front tires will look like the rear tires on a VW Bug on a bad day. Or if you cant picture that, it will look like your Bronco is falling off a cliff all the time.

I agree, you absolutely need to use drop brackets on the axle pivot bushings and radius arms to keep the geometry close to stock. Just installing 4" taller coils will make the tires look like this: \.../ and throw the caster way off.

Right, the tires should look like this: l...l, with maybe 1/4" of toe-in.
