HI Guys, My Name is Jack.
Just purchased an uncut 77 Bronco Sport. It is powered by a 302 Factory Blue Body with Wht. Topper. Only bad rust is at the bottom of each door, and around the rain lip of the topper.
All in all in pretty good shape. She runs pretty strong, needs some carb work.
I will send a couple of pics tomorrow.
Tonight I have a question about the gas tank switch valve. The guy i bought her from said it was bad, and would leak fuel in the floor board if i put more than a couple of gallons of fuel in her. He also gave me another switch valve to use. I just took it apart, and found that it also is bad. ( See attached pic.)
My question, is why does'nt someone make a replacement diaphram to go into the brass valve? It seems pretty simple to me?
All i have been able to find online, is after market valves, that look nothing like the original.
Any Thoughts?
Thanks
