what lift do you have now? you would need at least 8" to 10" of lift to clear 40's

6" lift kit with rear springs. replace coils with 8" lift coils, and 2" coil spacer (or lower your upper coil pocket), caster alignment bushing, and a sky rear shackle flip kit, or blocks.

sas conversion is also an option for the front. as sky shackle flip will get you about 4.5" of lift in the rear.

longer brake line, longer shocks, depending on how much driveshaft you have in your slip yoke you may need to have your driveshafts extended.

and voila you have clearance for 40's

Thanks for the info. Does that include fender trimming? I do plan to trim them as much as I need to if not all the way and then fab up some new fender flares.

Also would the T18 with 205 be able to handle those tires both highway and offroad? 450tq should handle it as well right? I'm asking cause I'm going to start a new project and want to get every part down on paper before I start ordering and tearing into my rig. Its for an 83 Bronco.

your gonna want to change your ring gear and pinion on both front and rear ends to make life on your drive train alot easier.going bigger than 35 without different gear ratios is always bad news.. with fender trimming with 8" of lift should do, but it never hurts to have extra clearance, ( never know when you'll want 44's)

for ordering axle parts you'll have a 9" rear axle, and a dana 44 front axle. may want to consider upgrading to electric or air differential lockers as well.

Hey buddy, I had an 8" Skyjacker suspension lift and a 3" performance accessories body lift on my 93 f-150 and there was enough room for 40's. Hope this helps.
