Hi Guys

I'm moving house soon and need to transport my Bronco 400 miles.

I'm renting a penske truck which I'll be driving, but they wont allow the bronco on their dollies or trailer because of weight.

Any of you guys have suggestions as to how to tow it. I've already tried car carrier companies and their way to expensive.

Thanks

Pay someone to drive it? Or just tow it with the penske anyways... youre pretty limited.

tell them you are towing a honda. if you can lie then ive been told you can flat tow or dolly it, if you put everything in neutral tcase/tranny, then stop ever 150/200 miles and started it up and move it around and stuff..how true that last line is i dont know personally

Yeah, if you can tow your 87 Bronco, just put the transfer case and tranny in neutral. It should be fine, but if you're concerned just remove the rear driveshaft. Either that or hire a friend to drive it for you that short a distance.
