Need more ground clearance

I have a 90 bronco suspension is still stock as well as gearing I plan to do 4"-6" of lift and 35" tires with 4:56 gearing in the back. I am not sure on gearing for the front however and does anyone recommend on lift height which will make the truck more trail capable. Most of my wheeling will be done at places like Paragon Park in PA. Thanks for the help B)

It's not a matter of whether you "should" have the same gearing or not. You MUST have the same gearing front and rear (assuming you are running the same size tires front and rear). If you didn't, when you put it in 4 wheel drive the driveline would try to spin the rear axle at a different speed than the front and your transfer case would be toasted.

with a 6 inch suspension and 35s you should be good on most stuff i have a 3 inch body and 30s and have pretty good ground clearance

I have a 91 with 4" of suspension and 33' "Mud Terrains". It handles pac nor west snow and mud durring hunting season and the summer get away trail rides just fine. (roads? whut iz dis roads yur talkin bout? We doan need no stinkin roads!
