need help with slip yoke

I am desperate. I bought a 82 bronco that the four wheel drive wouldnt work in. Found the problem, it was the passenger side axle. Pulled the axle out and it and the slip yoke that it goes in at the carrier were bad. Had no problem finding an axle, but the yoke is giving me a headache. I've had people refer to this as inner and outer axles, knuckles, unions, etc. All I know is ford motor company calls this a slip yoke and it is obsolete. Anyone know what i am talking about and where I can find one and perhaps the proper terminology to refer to all of this. As you can tell, i am no mechanic. Any help would be appreciated.

Automatic locking hubs? Or manual locking hubs? Or does it matter? This rain has put a damper into my pulling parts off that other Bronco!!!

i would stick with manual locking hubs... i'm in the process of changing mine over... the auto locking hubs i've had problems with not engaging all the way or worse yet not engaging at all in colder weather

I have manual locking hubs on the one I'm restoring. The one I'm pulling parts off of is automatic locking.
