So, I am really excited about my new 1979 Bronco Ranger XLT. It has the 400 and it runs loud and strong. I've never owned a Bronco before but I've always loved them; especially the '78-'79. It needs a lot of work with the body, but I bought it for a fun trail project so it doesn't have to be too pretty. I'm not a mechanical expert by any means but my good friend has built up several Broncos into rock crawlers over the years, so he's really excited about getting to help with another one and spend my money doing it.
The best part is that I only spent $700 on it
/ and it has brand new 33" BFG all-terrains. So I basically bought a set of tires and got a free Bronco. It definitely likes to mark its territory so my first task is to fix the leaks. Shouldn't be too hard, right? And I'm thinking that I only want to do a 4" lift with 35's. Just enough to handle most trails around here and a few at Moab. Any suggestions on a where to start with an inexpensive yet functional lift? [-o<
