I have a 1990 bronco. I was driving down a busy street, hit the brakes and the pedal went to the floor.(luckily that lincoln navigator was there to slow me down) When i got it back to the shop, i noticed 3 steel lines rusted through.I replaced the lines and bled, but i could not get a solid pedal.I replaced the master cylinder, wheel cylinders and calipers, bypassed the abs valve and adjusted the rear wheels . still no pedal. please help before iblow up this truck.lol

Wish I could help you more, but I am having some trouble with my brakes too.... not as bad as you are luckily for me. Did you check out the powe boost unit... I think yours will halve one too, (I have a 93).

Been awhile since i heard this problem, i had same issue and it bugged the **** out of me. he's right with the booster unit, however don't overlook the wheel bearings, because i had excessive travel with my '87 pedal, and the culprit was bearings. but if you have no pedal at all, would not make much sense then. only other thing i can think of is if vent holes in fluid reservoir cap are clogged, good luck with it!! :((
