so i was searching craigslist the other day and found and ad that said this:

Purchased this remanufactured motor for my 85 full size Bronco. Sold the truck before it could be dropped. Still in my garage, on the skid, in the crate, completely saran wrapped. I have the original receipt and paid over $1500 with shipping. Make me an offer.

Link gives more info - This is where I ordered it from.

I have a 94 with a 5.0 and the E40D. Would i be able to use this motor and if so what would i have to do. just wondering because if i could pick up a new motor for cheap i think that would be a great step for my restore. any input would be appreciated.

It looks as if that motor was used with a carbed intake for 83-87 models. If you check the engine specs, you'll find that a later-model, EFI motor has much more power and torque, unless that is the 351W H.O. That's not to say that you can't put an EFI intake on that longblock, just that i would say keep looking. I don't know the reputation of that rebuilt engine supplier, and would see if you can do some research on their quality or any problems. I posted a link to some info on motor swaps in another recent thread:
