I was wondering if you guys could answer a few questions for me. I got a great deal on a Lund Moon Visor for the Bronco, and as with most used parts, I got no installation manual with it. I was told that all the lights work, and I (think) I want to wire it into the amber lights on the front. Do I need a resistor? (and if so what kind) Can I wire it directly into the fuse panel? Or do I splice it into the existing wiring? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The engine question is this: Occasionally when I hit the gas, the engine stutters. I can't really tell what the issue is. It runs fine most of the time, so I don't think it's a spark plug issue, or a gas issue. Though, it could be a gas issue at low speed or something. It doesn't always happen, just occasionally. Anybody want to take a guess?

Thanks a lot guys.

P.S. It's a 305 EFI.

I sure HOPE it's not a 305 because then you'd be driving a Blazer. Chances are you have a 302. I'd start with the basics, ck your cap & rotor, how long has it been since the plug wires were replaced ? Give the throttle body a *good* cleaning, replace the plugs and then see if it's driving any differently.

When I've wired MonVisors in the past I just tapped into one of the leads for a [arking light. If you want you can throw a relay in there to help brighten the lights.

Sorry, I meant 302. I have a Camaro too and have been doing a lot of research on that, and I guess that's where I got 305.

I thought it might just need a cleaning. I guess I'll need to look into all that. Thanks for the tip.

When you say tap into the parking lights, do you mean just add the Moon Visor to the wiring loop, and it should be fine?

Yup, in the past I've just used the hot lead to one of my parking lights as the feed to either the moomvisor itself or the relay to the moonvisor. Either way it gives you a power tap that's only live when either the parking lights or headlights are on. ow if you want you can always run a feed direct from the battert to a switch in the cab & *then* to the moonvisor (they're low-voltage lights so a relay is probably optional) and just have the whole thing controled form a switch in the cab. Entirely up to you, it's really a personal prefrence sort of thing.
