Hey everyone New here, but i have read enough of the forums as a guest and have been impressed with the level of support and info. So here is my question I have a 96 Bronco 302 with a manual OD transmission F1TA ( I believe this is the M5R2 tranny sadly). It has been nothing but a problem the 5 years i have owned the vehicle. What i would like to know is if i can easily swap this out for one of the slightly older stronger 4 speed manuals? I have been told the transmission I have has always been wrought with issues and i would like to get rid of it. Or if anyone has another option I can look into?
