Good ? for someone with mechanical skills, on the right side of the engine im getting a ticking noise, first thought maybe oil was low or something causing lifter to stick or something, it was fine, then i remember my manifold was shaven down last time because it had a leak, now its doing it again i think, it seams like it making a clicking noise, after i drive a while it seems to lessen, not sure because it heats up and closes a small leak, should i replace it, also whats a real good plug to use, seems like it might be misfiring, platinum 4 by bosch?

I would suspect a crack in the exhaust manifold. You can make a stethoscope to listen for the leak. Just take a 3-4 ft. length of garden hose or 1" rubber hose. PAlce one end to your ear and the other to the manifold while the engine is running.

As for plugs, I just use the standard Ford/MotorCraft ones, cheaper than the platinum versions.
