Does anybody have a extra loud fuel pump in their Bronco? I have a 1996 and the fuel pump is loud. You know the noise the pump makes when you first turn your key on? Well my sounds like that whenever the truck is running. It been this way for years, But it just seems extra loud to me. Anybody else have this problem?

Yeah, mine does that. Has been for about 2 years now. Hasn't given me a problem, (knock on wood), but its loud enough to hear over the exhaust at idle. I have gotten kinda used to it now.

yo!

I agree with Joe

They do seem to sound louder; some go one for years; and some die off like moths on a hot bulb.

If you ever need to replace da mp or fuel level Sender (think you have a sender prob?)

you can do this;

Thats a great link, and have been debating doing that. But seeing how my leaf spring shackles and mounts are looking kinda rough, I'm just gonna drop the tank anyway to torch the factory rivets out. If the snow ever melts anyway..LOL

Joe, I hear ya!

While you have the tank down, why not cut the access for future work such as troubleshooting the fuel level sender and da pump?

Just might do that. Eventually the carpet is coming out anyway, so thats probably going to work itself into one of about 10 projects I'm trying to get done.
