lost some major power

alright well i changed the radiator to a 4 core on my 90 bronco and then i had this huge loss of power i know it doesnt have to do with the cooling system but when you get on it its like the throttles not opening up all the way or something. you can really tell at really low speeds because it wont down shift on its own. any one have any ideas cuz im stumped

This is again, one of several symptoms of a timing prob.

Could be the dist. slipped or worse, the timing chain is worn or has slipped a tooth.

Out of time=bad vacuum=poor shifting.

Best case, insp. your throttle linkage. Look down the carb airhorn & see if the throttle plates are opening all the way. (eng. OFF of course) B)

i checked the distributer and its not moving and the timing chain shouldnt have a problem because the engine in it only has about 2500 miles on it is it possible that the throtle cable is streched? ill check out the linkage and see if that is it thanks for the help
