Looking to buy 71 need some advice

I have an offer to trade my Harley for a 71 Bronco, Grabber orange, 302 High rise elderbrock and carb, headders, with B&M 3 speed floor shift. the Bronco seems very clean and seems to have been taken care of. There is a touch of rust under the windshield.I will go for a compleate inspection tomorrow, other than the obvious things like rust. Should I look for some other issues.

The obvious areas to check for rust is the quarterpanels and tailgate. Start the motor and see if it smokes and take it for a test drive to see how it handles, and while you're out, bring a small magnet and feel over these areas to see if body filler is has been applied. Also, check the floor pans for signs of rust. This could help you with negotiations. I also like the color.

Thanks for the idea on the magnet, the doors are capped so there is no place for windows, but I have found some extra doors,I plan to make this a year long project with a lift, tires, new paint and cowl hood ( might leave an orange racing stripe ) throw me some ideas on paint that I can use with the orange. I'll mis my bike but I've wanted a EB since i was a teenager now I have my chance wish me luck.
