should work from 80 thru 86 and late 88 thru 96 the oddball year being 87 thru mid 88 those ones sucked but are easy to tell apart and are totally different and were held on with the wheel instead of the axle

Well my buddy has a 83 shell and a 82 shell he turned into a mudder. I just came from his place and the passenger front lockout came out in pieces. Then i looked at the diff and he must have granaded the u joints. They were in pieces apparently it destroyed the lockout to it came out it 5 pieces. I'm hopin the other one comes our better tomorrow the snow is probally 3 foot deep and I had to run an errond. So the search continues tomorrow I hope its all not futile and produces the wrong lockouts.

That is awsome. Have you priced them lately I dont know if its the same in NY but there around 65-75 per set. I dont mind spendin some cash on good parts but money is tight lately. And I can get parts from him for FREE. That is my kinda price. lol $-)

He says he has 2 more trucks behind his grandmas house and we can go get them after workmthis weekend so the search continues.

well one problem breeds another. Its not the lockouts I pulled them they are in perfect shape. You can move the main shaft up and down I fugure it must be the wheel bearings. but what I'm concerned about is that you can move the shaft in wards is that normal or is there a problem?
