Lazy Windshield wipers

So the wirpers on my 88 will work for awhile then quit or slow down and finally quit. Then if I turn them off and back on they work for awhile again. Whats the problem? Relay? ??? Thanks for any help.

Lazy Windshield Wipers. I have a 1988 Bronco which I am fixing different things now. I am a single Mom so I am learning alot. Your lazy wipers are probably due to the Governor Switch. I myself need one and in the process or pricing them.

I am looking for some to stabalize my steering. The gear box has been tightneded, however there is a bar coming from wheel underneath hood which has nother bar inserted into it, that looks to neeed a busing. Any suggestions.
