I want to put a KC bar and 4 Daylighters on my Bronco.(2 foward and 2 backward)I am hearing stories that the KC bar doesn't mount well on Broncos..Is this true?? If so, is there a better bar and who makes it??

Carr makes a light bar that flips down to protect the lights. I had one, it worked great. The light bar was only knocked off once on a tight trail in the Pines. I ran 4 150 watt KC's facing forward on a full size.

Like around 100 bucks. I bought the black finish. They do offer a chrome bar.

They all fit kinda wierd for the fords because they clamp onto the drip edge . I run the KC bar and 5 150 watt lights I bought everything in stainless because I didnt want to deal with the rust latter on down the road . Only thing about the lights is the 150 watt ones are sealed beams so you replace the entire bulb instead of just the light like the 55/100 watt ones and there quite expensive . Cant go wrong with the quality though . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yeah I agree with the poor mounting on the rain gutter. I blew a 150 watt bulb. The bulb actually had a Wagner name and number on the inside. It was like 16 bucks for a new sealed beam at the parts store.

Could go with a Thule system and modify a load bar to accept the lights. Thule makes a more secure gutter mount.
