I put one in mine and got a 16% increase in gas milage. Of course when you start with 12 mpg, 16% is only 2 mpg for a grand total of 14. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I have splashed around in a few creeks and streambeds with no problems but I have not done anything extreme since I'm not done building it yet. On Miesk5's page, there is a link to a guy who made a snorkel out of stuff from Home Depot that looks like a pretty easy mod. I'm considering that if I have problems down the line.

If I ever go that route, I think I would make the external parts removable and have some sort of grill to stick over the hole for daily driving. Then it can double as a cold air intake as well. (maybe get another 10% milage increase lol ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> )
