Annual run up the Jubilee Lake highway near Tollgate, Oregon is coming. April 1st the road opens to vehicals. It begins as paved two lane road to the lake then becomes gravel and dirt trails all buried under the snow, if you go the distance you end up in Walla Walla, Washington. Some years there is still an extreme amount of snow as you can see in the pictures, normal is about 3 or 4 foot at the highway and deeper as you climb. You do have to watch for cops on sleds for the first few miles back. They will ticket for expired or no plates, have to have registered rig and they'll hit you for open container for you or your passengers. Our group heads up the first Saturday after the 1st (the 2nd of April this year). Search for Tollgate or hit me up for directions, there are a few people that have some videos under Jubilee Lake on youtube worth checking out to know what your getting into.
