Well I bought an aluminum cargo basket last year. Last week I decided to apply some bedliner spray to it. And boy did it turn out looking good!!

had nearly a whole can left..so I also did my tow hook, my 2" tow ball, the chrome locking pin for hitch accessories, wiper arms, spare tire bracket that mounts to the tailgate.. and my pry-bar which is a 3' long steel industrial tube for plumbing (1.5" inner diamiter).

After my camp trip, I'm going to probably do my wheels on the truck. $7.58 per can X 5 cans Vs. 5 new all black wheels at $50 a peice.. But I'll see how tough this stuff is with the cargo basket before I do the wheels.

But it's deff good looking stuff. and easy to apply.

before you go do the rims... take a look at these hubcaps that hugs the factory ford rims called wheel skins

http://www.ezaccessory.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=IMP-02&CartID=1

No affiliation or anything, they just have a picture of the rims.

I have seen the skins on other vehicles, they match right up & you could not tell it was a skin... Then i saw them on TV on Extreme 4x4... I plan to order me a set for now to go over my factory painted set, then figure out later, what kind of rims i want...

The bed-liner stuff is great... I actually use the commercial grade stuff at the shop for just about anything, besides bed-lining trucks... You just got to make sure you prep the area good, cause it will break down, blister or just peel off in-time... if you don't.

Hey Adam, Does it add a lot of weight? How well does the color hold up?
Not much weight at all. These are very popular on the Titan forums.. I thought about doing my truck but I decided to invest the money into the Bronco an leave the Titan stock.. Reason for this is they look a lot like the "Rockstar" rims.. minus the price tag. Leave the lugs chrome, an paint the rest of the wheel and they look pretty dang close to rockstars minus the center emblem..

From the random items I've sprayed, including my cargo basket it really doesn't any weight at all for the most part. Not enough for me to notice.. And it's much easier to spray on than spray paint. There is a slight texture but I think two coats per wheel is good enough. On these other guys trucks they have lasted in some cases a couple years now.. color doesn't fade from the looks of it. And if it does..just do a quick spray of another coat in a few years lol

the picture i was looking at before, with the bedliner sprayed cargo basket, i saw them at an angle figured they were the stock rims... My bad! I don't think the imposters or wheel skins are made for aftermarket ones like you got... The ones you have look like the set i have on my black rig... i think they are AR rims

These rims are OEM. They are the same silver color as the Bronco itself.

There are a set out there though at discount tire that look exactly alike (minus the chrome outter ring) for $50 a peice.

I think over time it would.. my pickup has a factory bedliner spray and it's now starting to fade after 5 years.

Best part though, unlike spray paint, this stuff is really hard to apply wrong due to the texture. And if it starts to fade, make it stronger by spraying a new coat on.. win win.

you know you ruined your 2" tow ball right? the point of the ball is to be smooth and greased for easy turning when towing a trailer.

I have a new tow ball I need to slap on. I kept the old one on because it made spraying it easier (didn't want to get spray in the hole) and mine had a deep gash from the last offroad trip. I had it upside down in the winter incase someone slid in snow and hit me, at least they'd hit that first and hopefully not make it too much farther up my rear end.. left it there, then hit a big rock on a late winter trip.

Come on.. I'm not THAT dumb :-"
