Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is D. I am from SE Idaho.  I am currently borrowing a 1984 Bronco from a really good friend, and will be buying it from him within the next 2 weeks.  It is not in perfect shape, infact it has its fair share of rust, and then some. I will be the third owner. I am unsure of miles as the odometer only has xxxxx.x for miles, but it is at about 43k, that is what it says.  I honestly have no idea how many times it has rolled over. I am on a really strict budget, and only have a few plans on things I would like to do to it.  Please dont make fun of the rust, or any of my ideas of what I am going to do, also, if you want to suggest stuff feel free, but if I dont like it or it is not what I am wanting to do, dont get pissy. Thanks for your time everyone who reads this. Now for the pics.

Here are the things that I am going to do, the stared ones are priorities.

*oil change

*tune up

*trans flush

 rust removal

 Paint

 push bar

 auxiliary lights

 new tires  (speaking of these, I need some recommendations, need cheap but good.)

 interior paint

 rear spare mount

 seat cover

 possible second battery system

There will be some other things too I am sure, but for now this is what I am thinking. It is my DD, and will be my wifes DD when I am not around.  Please if you have suggestions or questions, or even just want to chat about stuff, message me on here, I will check often.  Thanks again gals and  or guys.

Does your friend have any maintenance records showing such as;

transfer case fluid change; same for front Dana 44 and rear diff?

Sounds like you are all set to go.  Feel free to ask any question you like, there is no "Dumb question" except the one unasked.  We won't yell, "SEARCH", especially me, I have enough trouble finding my own past posts.  Every body starts at the same place, on some forums they forget they didn't, "know it all".  So if you have been a victom of one of those sites, relax, we aren't one of them.  There are a lot of guys here with a lot of experience in different areas, and they are not always on the forum, so you may have to wait for an answer at times.  We generally talk about what we know and let someone else talk about what we don't know.
