If this isnt an original engine someone did a sweet hack job on your truck LOL. Its not that big of a deal as long as your in a non emissions state, other wise thats a EFI truck. Why not post up some pics of what you got so far so we can see what your dealing with???

Does any one have a pic of what goes where?
No pictures, but I can tell you what they are.

Picture #1 side view of intake. 1. the hole to the left of the carb mount is the main vacuum port, (your vacuum tree goes here). 2. the hole at the bottom under the carb mount is for a Heat control valve, (the other half of a heat control valve mounted on the driver side exhaust manifold, together they give the engine better start and run characteristics and require a Ported Vacuum switch).

Picture #2 the plugged hole next to the distributor is for the temperature sending unit.

Picture #3 the open hole is another main vacuum port and can either be plugged or have a vacuum tree to shorten the vacuum hose run for something that needs main vac and is mounted in front of the engine, (all depends on what you plan on doing with vacuum stuff).

Basically it is the same as a stock, intake manifold used on a 302 and similarly for 351W ** but with better flow characteristics. It allows re-hooking all the original vacuum stuff up.

I can go into more detail on vacuum stuff, but since it looks like you may have a truck that was converted from an EFI to Carb you may or may not want to bother with it. I have a diagram of what I recommend for vacuum devices. Mainly they are for better start and run characteristics, it does not include the emissions control. Since it is a converted engine, that won't matter as it is officially, in most states, an Off Road Only truck.

Good luck,

:)>-

Tanks for the info

I'm the one who converted to carb needed to rewire the entire bronco

It had severe electrical problems I later discovered what they were when I took out all the old wiring out

Just needed to get it running got laid off as a truck driver need transportation asap
