I am putting the door glass back in my 91 Bronco. Before I started I turned the key to make sure that my motors n everything worked ok, and they did up and down it went. Well now I have the stinkin glass in there and the darn window don't do a thing. I checked connections, nothing was un hooked. What am I over looking, or did I do wrong??

One more question, I have misplaced (lol lost) the nut that goes on to the head light switch/dimer , that holds it in place w/ the bracket, so that I can put the cover back on. Anyways its been a year since It was taken off. I have no idea what the thing looks like. Crazy question i know . . . . :-B

Did you perhaps blow the fuse when messig around inside the door?I believe that nut is one of those thin hexnuts. Another comon nut is a round one with serated edges and a slot cut into the face. Can't remember off hand which one is on which control.

Good luck,

:)>-

Is the motor making any noise? SeaBronc's idea is the first step, If you did pop a fuse replace it and try again. If it pops again start looking for any cut wires. If all looks good check the alignment of the window. It may be out of align enough to bind and draw bigger amps for the fuse.

I will check fuses at after lunch n see, my shop is down the road. I wouldn't think that the glass is in a bind though, i don't think. By eye it seems to fit in running tracks correct it bows in correct place as glass does. I hope its the fuse. Whats the best way to put the glass in? I removed my flip out window then put the glass all the way to bottom, then slid it in track, then aligned it up to the left track. Slid the flip out window in, while putting the glass on that track. Does that work? or do I need to do something differently?
