Does anyone have any help to turn me in the right direction on swapping my ignition system. I have the stock in place right now. The only part I've replaced is the coil with an accel stock replacement. I want to replace maybe everything down to the distributor and the control module. Has anyone done this on this year of truck and what do you think?

yes MSD is the way to go, i have that on my street car and its awesome, i heard it may give some better gas mileage too, all my friends run MSD on thier broncos and have better throttle response than i do, i run stock on mine for now but soon im going to MSD....its a bit costly but worth it

I have the MSD system in my truck. I'm not sure that it actually gave better mileage but the response is better. I'm either going for a MSD distributor or a professionally re-curved stock distributor soon.

Good luck,

PS. I had to go for the Tac adapter in order to keep my factory tac running.

with the msd coil and heavier wires you can bump timing up between 13.5 and heard of as high as 15 gap the plugs out further and will get even better and as long as you can fight the urge to rev it the gas mileage will improve not major but enough

why must you fight the urge to rev it.. is it just because of the gas milage issue? and i was wondering if i went and just bought the msd coil for now will it work all right with regular wires.. or willi need to upgrade to 9mm wires...
