Ignition Control Module Screws

I need to pull my ignition control module and I'm not sure what size the screws that hold it in place are or what they look like. Anybody ever done this before?

i just did mine not too long ago...its a real small flat head but i had to go out and buy special tool for it in order to get them out...i got mine from advance auto parts

I just did mine, and mine was a 7/16 or 7/32 hex head . It is very small ****** I used a magnet attached to the socket so that I wouldn't drop the sm screws. if your is a hex head your going to need a 1/4 drive socket ., with a slender shaft to fit in ,I didn't have to pull the distributor shaft just marked it and turned it to the side, s and then placed a magnet to the socket and handed turned them out , so I wouldn't loose the screws. By the way my beast is a 90 5.8 Eddie Bauer.

I broke that little dohickey on mine a few weeks back. I didnt realize it was a seperate part from the distributer until I got a new one. I went ahead and had the whole thing replaced though.

On mine, it was little flathead screws holding it on though.

its actually a 5.5 mm but it has to be grinded down so it tappers... that what comes from the factory most after it has been changed once , the put diffrent ones back

sorr about the flathead part..i dont know why i thought it was a flathead
