ignition coil

i have an 89 302... i was wondering if a accel or MSD ignition coil is worth the money? and is there any noticeable differance? i know there only like $50 bucks but still im on a budget

I don't see where the coil by itself is of any real value unless you go with the ignition system that goes with it. The standard Ford distributor works just fine with them. You might want to consider saving up and installing a HEI system.

If you're on a budget... don't bother.

If you have the money to spare and your coil needs to be changed... I'd get it.

I've got one on my 96 and I like it. It was inexpensive and installs in literally 5 minutes.

I did mine when I changed my plugs, wires, and distributor.
