where in florida are you? first you have to plug in your sawzall and get some safety goggles. then start cutting right in between where the top appears to attach. know that once you do this, there is not going back. you must buy a soft top and junk your hard top.
In reality, all you have to do is remove the plastic trim pieces inside the cabin and unscrew the torx bits holding the sucker down. mark the trim and bolts in seperate baggies so you dont get them confused. then lift the top off. you can do it by yourself, but it weighs about 120 pounds, so having a friend will help your back out tremendously. when you store it, make sure you take care of the weatherstripping on the mating surface. it will let the top seal once you re-install it.
