Bill, post a good picture of your emissions sticker. It will be a lot easier to help you then. Please make it a little larger than the ones you have posted in the past if possible. If you use the "browse and this Attachment" function to post a picture, the system will create a thumb nail version for the post that can be clicked on to get the full size version.Hi all. question 5. vehicle info in my signature.
This hose goes to the charcoal canister. I think the thing on the end of the hose is a check or oneway valve. Where does the port on the valve go? There is another port about 2" back on that hose, where does this hose go?
Bill
No it does not go to the S port. The connection is more complex than that. Three lines normally get to the carbon canister. One is a line from the gas tank, One from the Bowl Valve vent (If that is a 460 carb, you don't have one of these), and a purge line to a port under the carb, plus tere are other valves controlled by VCVs or a computer.Seabronc, right now it is only connected to the charcoal canister. so you are saying that it should be connected to the carb, is this correct? does it go the the s port you mentioned in another one of my posts? Now I see what you mean about pic clarity. compaired to yours, mine are fuzzy. I will try using the higher quality setting on my camera and post larger pics. I will get a pic of the vacuum hose routing diagram in the next day or 2.
Thanks for all your help seabronc, I hope I'm not being a pain in the butt with all of my questions.
This is where I have found 95% of the info needed to get my bronco back in shape for the road. I have learned more about broncos from this forum in a week than I ever learned about any vehicle that I've owned.
