It sounds like a bad fuse. You already changed it so the broken wire may be the problem. To check it you need a volt meter to test the fuse location for power on both sides (one side should be live and the other side should be dead with the fuse out and both should be live with the fuse in) If it is dead on one side with the fuse in you have a bad fuse.

You may have a dead short somewhere in the line that blows the fuse as soon as you power that circuit so you should check that fuse again.

Good Luck and let us know if you find the problem or not.

Do yourself a favor and grab a test light and see if you can get voltage right off the fuse contact. Like shadow said, it's only going to be hot on one side of the fuse contacts. Use a known good ground, like a ***** in the steering column. If there's no voltage going to the fuse contact, you have a bad wire ahead of the fuse box. Just my guess, but I'd bet there isnt power there.

I dont have a diagram in front of me, but you should be able to trace that wire to the break easily enough. It probobly runs into a harness...make sure the hot wire has not popped out of the harness. Tap the hot behind the harness and make sure it's juiced there...and so on. With some persistance you'll find it.

Almost gotta be a dead horn....if you put a test light on the horn itself (use it's ground), have a buddy kick on the horn, you should get lights. If so, you have a dead horn.

I put the horn directly to the battery and it works fine.Connected a meter to the horn leads and there was little to no amps.So does this sound like a damaged wire

somewhere from the relay to the horn?
