Hitch?

my friends got a 2006 F150 witch hes gonna lower :-& (his dumba$$ bought a 2wd one) and he no longer needs the hitch

so if would his aftermarket hitch fit my 1990 Bronco?

anyone know if theres was a change in the frame that would effect it fitting

i dont care about maybe drillin some new holes or whatever

anyone know?

Maybe someone will correct me but I think you're $hit outta luck on this one man. It used to be that back in the day Bronco's & 150's shared a fairly common frame design but the F-truck you're talking about was built a full 10yrs after the last Bronco rolled off the line and I would suspect that the frames have diverged somewhat in that time.

On the other hand, if he's already taken it off then just throw it on a jack & put it under there to see how everything lines up. Could well be that if you weld on a small block here or there it will get you close enuf for it to work, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It'll probably fit an Expedition just fine, but I'm not so sure about a Bronco. You could also ck some hitch sites & see if the model #'s they list for your Bronco match the ones listed for 06 F-trucks. Just a thought.

its a free class III hitch so its worth a try
