i want to introduce my FIRST Bronco. she's a 1990 XLT, totally stock, with only 76K when we (my wife, actually) got her. "da wife" wanted something "tough looking" so she got herself a Bronco last november, but she never really drove it, and everytime she got in, it would always hesitate to start and crank over for her, so she'd jump right back into her 2001 Honda CR-V, and the Big Bronco would just sit in the driveway. well, i've got a 2004 Honda CR-V and there was nothing available (in terms of mods) to take the CR-V to the trails. BUT, the few times i got to drive "her" Bronco, it would always start right up, never hesitating. well, two weeks ago, "da wife" got tired of the Bronco not starting for her, and decided she was going to sell it. **** NO! i'll drive it then, i told her. it just needs a little TLC . . . . BULL! it just needed a new driver . . . . so now it's mine, all mine :)) and my two boys just love it, too! she's still pretty stock except for the 31" Dayton Timberline M/Ts (gotta start somewhere, right), and she carries stuff to get her out of sticky situations (just in case her "new" novice driver gets carried away). i'm thinking of staying close to stock, maybe a 2.5" lift next . . . . . . all input greatly appreciated . . . . Welcome to Bronco Zone!!! You'll be surprised what a stock Bronco on 31's will do offroad, so I say keep it mild for a weekeend wheeler and daily driver. Good Luck, and post any questions you might have, as there's several folks here that can help you out with starting problems, etc.!!!
