help with automatic front hubs

ok so i gota change my rotor i take the hub "cover " off and there is some kind of cap around the spring and actual hub its self....there is no lock ring or anything around it how do i get that off?....i take the left side off (driver side) and there is no cap (unless its in the cover) and the spring comes with the cover..i took the lock ring off the hub and gota figure out a way to get the clips up to slide the hub out any advice from anyone would be awesome...thanks

What are you working on? Year would be helpful.
its an 89 i finaly got it all apart today but what was weird to me was the fact that the left and right side were totally different left side had 5 torx screws and the right had 3 and i deffinitly need a 2 1/2 inch socket to ***** back on the wheel bearing locknut for the right side

weird, sounds like someone put in a different year hub on the right side.
