yo!
Welcome!
I haven't seen this swap on the net or know anyone that has done it...yet.
Generally, you have the right path on EEC, harness..
For the fuel sys, you'll need the 300's pump, FPR, etc because of the PSI and Flow differences from the 5.0
For 90-96 5.0L, 5.8L and 7.5L EFI engines, the in-tank mounted high pressure fuel pump is capable of supplying 105 liters (27.7 gallons) of fuel per hour at a working pressure of 270.0 kPa (39 psi).
the 4.9L EFI engine, the pump can supply 90 liters (23.7 gallons) per hour at 380 kPa (55 psi).
re; "...Can you pull the computer and just the harness for the engine and computer?..."
yes and you'll need to figure out the nsors using some wriring diagrams, but by using the C6, you won't need to figure out the EEC wiring to it since it doesn't need it.
Will need to think more about all this..using diagrams and other research tools.
Look in my site under, electrical.. Wiring Diagrams to see if any are good to use;;

for the fuel and some engine sensors; look @ Wiring Diagrams & Component Location Diagrams in 86-96 Bronco & Fords; Agree and enter year, make/model, etc.

some old notes to validate;
need shifter column from C6
new seals
torque converter?
as sackman once wrote on a reverse swap (C6 to AOD, so just reverse this)
The flexplate from a C6 will not work with an AOD. Something to do with how far it draws the converter out of the front pump.
But, the AOD flexplate will work when swapping to a C6. <-----I've done this.
As far as converter goes, you gotta have one for the AOD, as they're different than the C6
radiator swap
Will try to come back tomorrow..
