I have a 1996 Ford Bronco XLT, 5.8L V8 that has a fuel leak in the line that connects to the fuel filter and runs back to the top of the fuel tank into the fuel pump. The part number as per the service manager at the Ford Dealer in Lawrence, Kansas is F6TZ9S278J. They say this part is no longer in service, obsolete, never again and we can't help you buddy. So, I am looking for this part. I've checked several parts places online and come up empty handed. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it a lot.

yo,

try, http://peerlessauto.net/

And let them know we refer them to other owners a lot.

If they don't have any, ask them for a poss source; some yards out there may pull the hubs and store em; bec. they know the value... whereas around here, PCMs are pulled and left out in the swamps

How about Steel Fuel Repair Lines? Am surprised that the service manager didn't suggest this; but some doesn't want to get into any repirs outside the EVTM/Service Manuals; our former, now closed dealer service manager would repair anything that had a Ford emblem on it.

Give em a call because they say; "Although we have a physical library of over 14,000 parts, we can reproduce any line in OEM or stainless steel working from your original. If we do not have your application, we can make it custom for you. When we receive your original, we will call you with a quote. Once the quote is accepted, the new part(s) will ship within a few days. Prices for custom duplication are based off similar lines in our catalog with a slight up charge."
