Hey all, I'm new to the world of Bronco's and have not done much of my own work before. I recently purchased a 1993 V8 Bronco and was told afterwards by the local Aamco that I need to replace the transmission pan gasket. I've gotten pretty familiar with the truck, but am wondering if anyone knows where I can get info on exactly how to change the gasket? Is it a fairly involved process, or am I actually just dropping the pan, sticking on the new gasket, and putting it back? Hope I don't sound like an idiot, just new to all this. Thanks a lot!

drop the pan (if theres a drain plug drain it first)

clean the old gasket off the transmission case and the pan itself

do not use any kind of gasket sealer wut so ever

line it up and torque em down to 12-15

u will need more tranny fluid my geuss is 7 quarts just to be safe, and while ur in there you might wanna concider changing out the fliter

i beleave urs gonna have AOD or the 40AOD

good luck
