Hello from Portugal - Bronco II restoration

Hello Everyone,

just came across this forum and couldn't help and register myself.

I just got a 85 black bronco II that was rotting in a junkyard. it was a long time dream came true.

I wanted a project like this to work with my dad and leave the car to my son when he is of age. It will be a challenge.

Just as I sat for the first time I was stung by a wasp. 

the gasoline was rotten and there were traces of rats living there.

but the engine worked, incredibly, I just poored gas in the double carb and it ran for a while. the cooling system was dry as a desert. the car has a couple of rotten parts, but the interiors are quite nice and it's beautiful. all black.

My main fear is the transmission not working, but I am counting on your advice

I am sharing two pictures when I saw it/her for the first time.
