I am going to replace my heater core in my 1989 Bronco and already have the new heater core ($18.00 new) and know how to remove the old one from behind the glove box and have a Haynes book. And yes it gets cold in Florida it was in the low 20's last year and had to ride my Harley to work. My question is dose it really matter which hose is hooked up where? The heater core has two hose bibbs coming out of the firewall side by side and there is a upper and lower hose bibb coming off the engine? I was going to hook up the right hose bibb to the upper hose bibb on the engine and the left to the lower. But dose it really matter?? The haynes book only shows how to remove and reinstall the the heater core?

It doesnt matter which one goes where infact usually when the old trucks start not blowing much heat you can swap them around and it will flush all the stuff blocking the cores out and it will have heat for awhile till it all makes it back to the other side . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> If you get a heater core for a 92 or newer they are aluminum and will heat the cab up %200 faster mine was way cold till I did that . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
