Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew if any of the head bolts on a 351 protrude into any water passages. I know on a 302 they do, but a guy here at work said none of them do on the 351. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Ford motors all have whats called blind holes for the head bolts they do not break into a water jacket thats a chevy thing . If you do see antifreeze coming out of one of the bolt holes when removing the head its because the water was not drained prior to removal or when the head gasket seal finally opened the gushing water ran out the bolt hole or the only other reason would be for some reason the block cracked under the bolt hole but very unlikely . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
