Having Front End problems, please help!

I'm having and extreme problem with the front end of my 1988 Bronco. When i turn the steering wheel extreme left or extreme right, it feels like the tires toe in, like they are rolling underneath the truck. Also, sometimes when i park it, the front in looks like it's toed out really bad. Does anyone know the problem? i don't know if it's the camber bushings, ball joints, steering knuckles or what. If only i had a starting point LOL. Thanks for all your help in advance!@

Update: i'm fairly sure this is the ball joints. I just want some other ppl opinions.

after reading your post my first thought was balljoints, jack it up & wiggle the tires top to bottom to see if there is play in them, there sould be none. If there is your diagnosis is correct.

thanks, i'm hoping it's the ball joints....that's a fairly inexpensive fix for me

79bigbronco has the same idea as I had.

Once you have it in the air to check the ball joints you should check everything else to be sure everything is tight. Another problem spot on the 87 - 91 Broncos is the steering box, have a friend rock the wheel only in the slop range so you can watch the box and shaft. There shouldn't be any play at the pitman arm. If the steering shaft turns but the pitman arm doesn't then your problem is most likely there or in the linkage between the firewall and box.
