I am running 35's on my 85 bronco. I wanted to put 4.56 gears in the rear end. I was told that if you change gears in the rear, that you have to change the gears in the transfer case and in the front. Is that correct?

Just to make sure you understand the responses,

1. You do not make any changes to the transfer case.

2. You need to change front and rear differential gears to the same ratio. If you don't you will have an interesting experience the first time you put it in 4x4 :(( .

Good luck,

:)>-
